Discover Napoleon’s final campaign in Belgium on a 6-hour guided tour. Visit the battlefields of Ligny, Quatre-Bras and Waterloo, and end your tour at Lion’s Hill, the site built by the Dutch to celebrate the victory. You will be picked up from your hotel in Brussels (and surrounding areas) and travel to Ligny, where Napoleon won his final victory against the Prussians. Continue to Quatre-Bras, where the French and British armies clashed. Next, visit the battlefield of Waterloo, where Napoleon was defeated by the British and Prussian armies. Finally, end your tour at Waterloo, and learn about the legendary battle where Napoleon’s army faced the coalition. See where the Waterloo Memorial (Lion’s Hill) stands today, and learn about the Dutch prince who was wounded there. Enjoy a 1-hour stop for lunch at a local restaurant (meal not included). After your tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Brussels (or nearby).
